Buford and Blanche!
Buford and Blanche Graddy were joined in marriage in Flippin, Arkansas on August 22, 1948. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 22, 2008.
Buford was a founding partner of Petty's Drug Company and Consumer's Pharmacies of Little Rock, Arkansas. He retired from the real estate division of Auto Zone.
Blanche was a school teacher and principal in Springfield, Missouri for years before retiring as the principal of Warren Dupree Elementary School in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Buford and Blanche have two sons, George and wife Dotty of Springfield, Missouri and Joe and wife Pam of Germantown, Tennessee. They have four grandchildren, Jennifer Graddy of Springfield, Missouri, Sarah Tobin and husband Patrick of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Matthew Graddy of Fort Riley, Kansas, and Michael Graddy of Germantown, Tennessee.
A surprise 60th wedding anniversary celebration was hosted by the family at the Tower Club.
